Maximum peoples of Satkhira district live under poverty. Seasonal time,
they work in the field including agriculture activities. But they do not get
actual remuneration. On the other hand, the wage of the target area
inadequate. Peoples of this coastal area suffering by loss of their assets,
income option, human disparity, biodiversication and high prevalence of
human rights violation. For this, they are dishearten and including
corruption. The effect of climatic disaster, man made hazards vulnerability
increasing day by day and vulnerable community peoples going under
most risk and boundless sufferings. Maximum poor family members are
involved black marketing. It is very risk and illegal business. Thinking
over the socio-economic development of the area, some dynamic,
energetic and educated persons formed Shwapno Foundation by the
inspired of Sanjib Kumar Ghosh who is the Founder and Executive
Director of the organization.
